At the beginning of this week I had the privilege of being interviewed on UCB 2 Radio by Ruth O’Reilly-Smith, who has a daily programme, “This is my story”, which is described as a a show about sharing stories of how God’s amazing love has changed lives forever.
In the description of my interview, it says, “Andy’s story is full of texture, as God has long been involved – but during childhood at the ages of 8 and again at 14, big family moves spurred on an added dimension of his relationship with Christ – leading him to pursue becoming a vicar by the age of 16. His spiritual development coincided with a period of tightening familial connections as a visit to Coventry’s twin city Dresden inspired him to begin telling his grandparents story – leading to the eventual publication of his book about the power of love even in the midst of Nazi occupied Germany.”
It was a great experience to reflect not only on the book I’ve recently written but also on how God has been at work in my life over the years. God has certainly been good to me and I’m grateful.
